Dear Philadelphia
We are looking to build this organization and serve the community by ensuring that all family units have a chance at successful growth and healing for those that require it. We are aptly named Growing Foundations because we believe that the family foundation is a key factor in our growth and path in life. Having a strong foundation built with love, confidence, positivity, care, is what nourishes us in life.
This organization was founded by an African American, single mother, who noticed a need in the City of Philadelphia of more resources for families in the community. While there is a plethora of amazing agencies that provide great services to Philadelphia residents, there is currently no place in which families can come together to navigate those systems of care or connect with other families who may be experiencing similar experiences such as their own. We want to help build stronger relationships within family units and ensure that families have what they need not just to survive, but to thrive!
Sincerely,
Growing Foundations Inc.
